Our client is a global crop protection company with many well known products. They require a Territory Sales Manager for a key Territory in Western Australia who can drive the business at the customer level as the company continues to expand its product range and sales.

You will achieve sales and profitability goals within the defined territory through facilitating effective business planning and development with distribution customers and resellers. Flexibility is offered on the location.
The focus of the position is to grow market share of products into the key broadacre and horticultural markets through the existing distribution network.
- Well planned, effective farmer and reseller agronomist activities will be the key to creating demand for products in the territory.
- The ability to establish and maintain strong relationships with industry personnel are a key selection criteria for the successful person.

Specific responsibilities are to:

- Achieve sales, market share and contribution in line with company targets.
- Develop product positioning and implement customer/account plans for the designated territory, including developing sales targets with distributor customers.
- Train and develop distribution network agronomists/sales staff and foster mutual business relationships.
- Conduct analysis of the business environment, identify opportunities and communicate this information to the relevant marketing and commercial managers as appropriate.

Qualifications:

- Tertiary qualifications in agriculture or business with 3 years minimum experience in a sales role within agribusiness.
- Excellent communication and networking skills. Ability to train others in use of products and techniques.
- Customer focused with the ability and interpersonal skill to quickly build credible relationships with customers.
