**About the Role**:
Our client is on of the leading distributors within the industry, they are seeking a Payroll Manager to join our team in the South Eastern suburbs of Melbourne. We are looking for a driven and hands-on individual with a strong background in payroll management, who can ensure the timely and accurate processing of our employee payroll.

**Key Responsibilities**:
The Payroll Manager is responsible for the running of the organisation's weekly, fortnightly and monthly payroll in an accurate and timely manner ensuring compliance with all legislative and company requirements:

- Manage end-to-end payroll processing for employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Ensure that all payroll-related data is entered into the system accurately and on time, including employee pay rates, tax information, and superannuation contributions.
- Manage employee entitlements, including annual leave, sick leave, and long-service leave.
- Liaise with external payroll providers and government agencies as required.
- Provide payroll-related support to other departments within the organisation.
- Continually evaluate and improve the payroll process, ensuring that it remains efficient and effective.
- Reconciliation and Reporting

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a Payroll Manager, with a strong understanding of payroll compliance, taxation, superannuation, and employee entitlements.
- Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Ability to manage confidential and sensitive information discreetly and professionally.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with payroll software and Microsoft Excel.
