**About the Role**
The officer works collaboratively with other members of the team to oversee several key organisational systems and policies and provides advice to the Coordinator Governance Services in the development and implementation of these systems.
The major objectives of the role are to:

- Facilitate the efficient production of Council and Planning Committee meetings agendas and minutes and various other agendas (as allocated) and associated processes to support informed and transparent Council and organisational decision making.
- Coordinate the maintenance of a range statutory registers and organisational policies (as allocated) in relation to the elected Council and associated compliance and governance requirements.
- Undertake governance, statutory and corporate support processes (as allocated) within the governance unit.

**Skills & Experience**
- Experience working in a government context.
