Responsibilities include:
The position provides support to the Legal and Assurance Division for the procurement of external legal services by undertaking the following duties:

- Drafting and issuing Work Orders to legal services providers;
- Raising and managing purchase orders;
- Ensuring compliance with the Commonwealth Procurement Rules, the Public Governance, Performance and Accountability Act 2013 and internal policies and frameworks;
- Assisting lawyers to manage their outsourced matters by providing timely advice on expenditure against purchase orders and purchase orders due to expire;
- Managing inboxes and responding to queries from external legal services providers and internal stakeholders in relation to procurement of external legal services;
- Prioritising workloads and competing demands to ensure deadlines are met;
- Maintaining accurate records in the LEX Matter Management System;
- Identifying efficiencies or improvements to processes;
- Assisting with the end of financial year accrual processes in relation to external legal services;
- Processing invoices from external legal services providers, as required; and
- Undertaking legal support duties, as directed.

**Salary**: $81,372.00 - $88,000.00 per year
