About the role

The Estates Services performs an effective maintenance service that provides a safe environment for high quality patient care. Contributing to creating Australia’s leading health care environment by keeping the hospital buildings and equipment in a safe and usable condition that allows for their efficient utilisation and overall effectiveness.

The Maintenance Officer is part of a team that supports the ongoing management and coordination of day-to-day Maintenance Operations of a discrete multi-disciplinary team to achieve a high standard of performance within the Estates, Equipment Service.

**To be successful in this role you will have**:
The highest levels of personal integrity and ethical behaviour. Australian recognised Electrical Trade Certificate Extensive knowledge of HV & LV Power Distribution Systems. Extensive knowledge of generators and backup power systems Strong understanding of DDC and PLC Controls systems Demonstrated experience within a Maintenance Officer or similar position within an Engineering Maintenance environment Highly developed and demonstrated consultative, interpersonal and communication skills
Demonstrated experience in effective contract management, particularly KPI Management
Effective time management and organizational skills, including the ability to show initiative and work effectively under pressure
Sound business acumen and a track record of delivering value-add impact in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Fosters a collaborative team spirit focused on service delivery
