**About the Role**

Aegis Health seeks a dynamic Maintenance Officer to undertake day-to-day maintenance of hospital systems under the direction of the Building Services Manager and Aegis Facility Services according to Aegis’ required quality of work, procedures, polices, and standards at Aegis Health Murdoch in a permanent full-time position.

As an integral part of the team, you will.
- Undertake all allocated functions and duties required to maintain the Facility to the high standard expected by Aegis.
- Undertake all duties be that maintenance, preventative maintenance, repairs, installations etc that leads to the high standards of comfort and quality of care and lifestyle to all residents.
- Provide a first response to identified defects, carry out necessary investigation on required repairs to building services and fabric.
- Maintain fixed assets in good condition using appropriate trade skills and tools.
- Review, Prioritise and attend to daily work requests, Document maintenance complete using mobile devices or computers.
- Support contractor management as requested, review safety documents audit and supervise external contractors to ensure all works undertaken are completed in a safe manner.
- Engage with Hospital precinct Stakeholders on maintenance related issues. Support other trades and services providers as requested.
- Assess risks associated with day-to-day activities and report hazards.
- Your objective is to maintain buildings and physical assets and carry out routine maintenance tasks.
- You are required to use your maintenance expertise and ability to problem solve to improve lives for our residents and patients.
- Maintain buildings, equipment, and other aspects of the facility environment with the assistance of external contractors where necessary.

**About You**
- Base trade in building services Carpenter / maintenance assistant background or similar experience in large facilities.
- Experience within a Hospital Maintenance Environment.
- Advanced computer skills demonstrated experience using the latest technology.
- High risk work licenses; Working at Height, Confined Space.
- Current Police Check.
