Do you have a strong background in Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL)? If so, we invite you to join our team at the Melbourne Children's Research Institute (MCRI) as a MEL Coordinator.

MCRI's Global Health Strategic Initiative contributes to a global movement dedicated to placing children and adolescents at the heart of sustainable development and the United Nations (UN) Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Our approach to sustainable development is unique, as we bring together research, education, and care under one roof at the Melbourne Children's, creating a dynamic environment that fosters continuous learning and improvement within health systems to enhance child and adolescent health.

Our impact extends globally, with a primary focus on the Indo-Pacific region. We collaborate with the World Health Organization, Indo-Pacific governments, research institutes, universities, healthcare services, and non-governmental organisations to support a learning health systems approach.

**Your responsibilities include**:
As the MEL Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in our organisation's mission by:
Develop MCRI Global Health Strategic Initiative Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) Framework and frameworks for key initiative-wide programs
Provide technical support to the Global Health Strategic Initiative in all aspects of evaluation, including theories of change, program logics, evaluation designs, plans and data collection methods
Lead the evaluation of capacity development and Learning Health Systems in key initiative-wide programs
Support project teams across the Global Health Strategic Initiative to collect, analyse and report on qualitative and quantitative data, in line with the Global Health Strategic Initiative MEL Framework and frameworks for key initiative-wide programs

**About you**:
Over five years’ experience in Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) with a preference for experience in international development or health programs
Relevant postgraduate qualifications or experience in program evaluation, public health, social sciences, international development or related fields
Willingness to adapt in a dynamic work environment and contribute to a shared effort to deliver work to a high standard and by set deadlines
Capacity to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
