**Salary**: $84,063 - $90,986 per annum (pro rata) plus superannuation
**The opportunity**:
The Centre for Community Child Health is seeking a dedicated and passionate Project Officer to join the Systems Impact (SI) team in a part-time (0.6 FTE) capacity. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to projects aimed at improving child outcomes through an ecological approach. The role will involve working on a variety of evaluation and evidence-informed action projects that focus on child and family services, community conditions, and policy change.
The Project Officer will support the design, implementation, and improvement of child and family services or initiatives. You will work closely with a wide range of stakeholders, using participatory, capacity-building methodologies to enhance skills and knowledge. Your work will include a range of project methodologies such as participatory evaluation, systems thinking, human-centered design, and participatory action research.
Your responsibilities include.
**Project Support**: Contribute to project delivery by assisting with data collection (focus groups, interviews, surveys), analysis, and reporting.
**Tool Development**: Develop reflection tools, data collection tools, analytical frameworks, and reporting templates.
**Workshop Facilitation**: Assist in designing, organizing, and co-facilitating workshops/meetings, including reflection and learning sessions and evaluation workshops.
**Project Management**: Monitor project progress, manage project plans, and assist in the development and modification of ethics protocols.
**Stakeholder Engagement**: Support client relationship management and manage stakeholder expectations for project delivery.
**Reporting and Presenting**: Write substantial reports, succinct summaries, and present at internal and external forums.
**What we need from you**:
Tertiary qualification in relevant fields (e.g., Public Health, Psychology, Social Policy, Education).
Experience in evaluation, research, or evidence-informed methodologies, including mixed methods data collection and analysis.
Proven experience in project management.
Strong written and oral communication skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information.
Experience with early childhood professionals or the child and family service system is desired.
Experience in designing and facilitating workshops, training, or coaching is desired.
