
Human Resource Manager

As Human Resources Manager, you will provide leadership and management of the delivery of both strategic and operationally focussed HR advisory and consultancy services, particularly in the areas of recruitment and selection, people management, the development and implementation of workforce planning initiatives, employee entitlements, case management, performance management and organisational change.
- Leading and developing HR staff engaged in the provision of specialist advisory and support services to client groups, ensuring these services are responsive, innovative and targeted to address client's strategic and day to day operational needs.
- Promoting communication and connectivity between all areas of the Human Resources team and across the department, to enhance effectiveness in the development and implementation of HR strategies.
- Effectively manage key relationships with internal and external stakeholders in order to achieve quality service delivery outcomes.
- Conducting organisational and structural reviews which support the Departments, Divisions and Work Unit's strategic objectives.
- Identifying strategic HR issues and develop strategies that align with organisational needs and comply with relevant HR legislative and departmental policy requirements.
- Coordinating the implementation of change activities impacting HR systems and services and develop and implement strategies that effect change while maintaining service delivery to management and staff.
- Promoting and undertaking the development of strategic workforce planning, to ensure the long-term viability and flexibility of the Departments workforce as it meets the challenges of changing business needs.
- Encouraging a supportive team focussed working environment and devise and implement developmental activities that enhance the team's skills and technical capability.
- comprehensive knowledge and experience in contemporary human resource services, excellent customer service skills and a proven ability in leading a team to deliver best practice HR support and advice.
- proven experience in successfully implementing human resource change activities which are aligned to the organisation's strategic direction.
- demonstrated experience in delivering a broad range of HR and ER services.
