Return-It is the consumer facing entity of the Group and its core business is to provide a modern and convenient way to collect eligible beverage containers via Container Deposit Schemes, accurately paying back refund amounts to consumers. Return-It is a national business and operates across QLD, ACT, NSW and WA and comprises of more than 100 collection refund points, including over 40 permanent depots

**ABOUT THE ROLE**

Reporting directly to the Chief People Officer, the Human Resources Manager is responsible for overseeing the people function of Return-It across Australia.

Based in Brisbane, the role will involve working within all aspects of the employee life cycle from Recruitment to Employee management and development.

Key Responsibilities:

- Act as the key contact and trusted advisor for Senior Management on all people related matters including alignment to NES, relevant awards as well as health and safety.
- Partner with the site leadership teams to actively promote and implement employee development, engagement and retention strategies.
- Own the accountability across multiple sites in all states.
- Work with the Talent and learning and development team to Actively manage and develop the Return-It Talent Management strategy and its implementation.
- Manage the performance management issues, employee and industrial relation matters for Return-It.
- Work with relevant departments such health and safety and learning and development to ensure compliance and governance is adhered at all times.
- Develop and manage the return It HR Advisor(s) and share knowledge within the wider HR team.
- Reporting on all activities.

**ABOUT YOU**
- At least 5 years experience working as a HR Manager
- Human Resources Degree or similar
- Proven hands on Commercial experience and mindset
- Multiple site management experience
- ER and IR experience
- Workforce planning experience (desirable, not essential)
- Understanding of Rem and Ben frameworks (desirable, not essential)
- Strategic and operational approach
- Experience in managing a small, remote team
- Ability to travel nationally
- Positive attitude
- Naturally Approachable and relatable
