**This opportunity**

The Program Manager is responsible for successfully delivering assigned programs and sub projects based on business demand.

This role will be responsible leading multiple projects, major high risk and complex projects or programmes, and accountable for the planning, structuring and execution of these projects. This position will report to the Head of IT Delivery and will use the program disciplines and processes as per TPG Telecom standards.

- Manage budget and monitor expenditure and costs against deliverables and realised benefits as programme develops
- Plan and monitor the programmes overall progress; Resolve any issues and instigate corrective action as appropriate (Issues management and analysis)
- Manage and develop staff within the programme team
- Ensure the delivery of new products and/or services from the projects is to the appropriate level of quality, on time and within budget, according to the programme plan
- Take responsibility for the quality assurance and overall integrity of the programme
- Risk assessment of programme and subsequent management to ensure successful completion
- Manage dependencies and interfaces between projects
- Ensure active management of financials including forecasting and accruals
- Vendor governance and control over deliverables
- Provide reports and ensure project managers working within the program provide reports showing the status of the project against agreed plans, with analysis of deviations and assessment of risks to future deliverables including ability to develop and implement go to green plans for projects in red or amber status
- Ability to manage project managers to deliver one or many projects within the program
- Coaching and mentoring of project managers and ensuring they are on the right path in terms of process and methodologies.

**Knowledge & Experience**
- A minimum of 8 years’ experience within Senior Project / Programme management using leading methodologies and processes
- Experience of managing multiple parties including Senior Project Managers and 3rd party vendors on high profile and technologically innovative enterprise solutions
- Ability to manage large teams across multiple sites and create a sense of teamwork by pulling together the different members of the programme teams who may be unrelated and dissimilar
- Demonstrate a high level knowledge of project management delivery processes.
- Strong leadership and communication ability with a demonstrated ability to be pragmatic.
- Demonstrate strong vendor management capabilities and ability to work with cross functional teams
