**This opportunity**

This role will deliver a Program of projects to meet business, customer and delivery objectives. This role will facilitate the delivery of a number of projects in an optimal manner, to enable the business to realise the benefits from the new capability. The role will have overall responsibility for management of budgets, financials, schedule, resourcing, supplier engagement, stakeholder engagement, roadmap alignment, quality, operational readiness and post implementation reviews, for a given suite of projects.

**Responsibilities**
- Establish the framework to deliver program governance over, scope, cost, quality and schedule
- Lead project managers in the execution of their duties
- Develop a program resource plan to ensure the right people, skills, facilities and tools are available when required to meet the customers’ demands
- Establish the program management communications plans for all stakeholders
- Develop the cost management system for the program. Cost management to include budget, funding approvals forecasts, cost tracking, closure and asset capitalisation
- Ensure Financial controls and reporting are adhered to by all projects within the program
- Manage the business sponsor and stakeholder relationships ensuring whole of business communications are timely, relevant and support change management goals
- Establish the program and project structures and governance arrangements required to engage stakeholders through the full lifecycle. Monitor the engagement of these stakeholders and implement change as required
- Ensure TPG’s relationship with assigned vendors is managed in accordance with the commercial and vendor management teams
- Pro-actively support Project Managers to manage vendor delivery, quality, prioritisation and issue escalation
- Provide leadership and support for all members of the team
- Assist projects through active intervention and individual coaching of project team members, to empower for growth and recognition with stakeholders. Provide 360, feedback to individuals and Project/Program Management Group line managers
- Provide reports showing program and project status against agreed plans, with analysis of deviations and risk assessment to future deliverables
- Ensure changes to scope and direction are defined to meet the business results and are managed, communicated effectively and adhere to the TPG PMO governance process
- Day to day management of the Program and its budget.

**Knowledge and experience**
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology or related field
- At least 10 years’ experience as Program / Project manager or similar management position
- At least 5 years managing a technical project.
- Experience in managing programs in Telecommunications. Knowledge of Mobile Core Networks is desirable.
- PMP certification or equivalent Project Management certification
- At least 10 years’ experience managing Programs/Projects circa. $20M+
- At least 10 years relevant experience delivering major cross-functional Programs of work, from inception through to transition to business as usual
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and management skills. Demonstrated ability to work with senior stakeholders across multiple line functions and business units
- Strong and collaborative leadership style. Comfortable dealing with diverse groups across multiple levels
- Strong leadership with a demonstrated ability to be pragmatic
- Demonstrated strong vendor management capabilities and ability to work with cross functional teams
- Excellent financial management skills
