About The Client

My client is an established well known ASX20 large FMCG business that has been an Australian household name over the last 90 years. As a market leader, they have expanded their product portfolio and distribution channels over the last 3 years.

**About the role**
- Analysing and monitoring the site's financial performance and determining any corrective actions required.
- Supporting productivity by providing clear cost to serve analysis to aid decision making and monitoring benefit delivery.
- Providing guidance and coaching to the Leadership and Operations teams regarding financial performance management.
- Provide financial performance insights, highlighting opportunities, measures of success, and trackability.
- Standardise financial performance reporting, ensuring daily, weekly and monthly requirements are addressed. This should include exception-based “early warning” communication to the Leadership team with escalation to the Commercial Manager.
- Accurately forecast each cost centre’s volume and financial commitments, which includes working collaboratively with the Supply Chain Managers and the State Manager.
- Communicate financial results and drivers with clear, constructive commentary to the National Finance and the Leadership teams.
- Prepare detailed annual operating plans and budgets in collaboration with the National Finance and the Leadership teams.
- Embrace continuous improvement in finance by enhancing processes & self-development.
- Actively participating and leading group projects for the Finance function.
- Provide coaching, development support and guidance to the Finance Administration team onsite.

**Profile**

To be successful in this role, the following experience is desirable:

- CIMA, CA, CPA qualified or working towards
- Logical and Analytical Thinker
- Previous experience as a Commercial Analyst, ideally within a commercial function, ideally experience within retail/FMCG sectors
- Highly developed analytical and problem-solving skills
- Outstanding verbal communication and critical thinking skills
- Experience with SAP, TM1, Data Visualisation tools and financial systems in a commercial environment
- Able to demonstrate initiatives and be proactive, with a willingness to step in and take new things on
- Ideally, 2-3 years relevant experience
- Ability to work constructively within a team
