**Role Summary**:
The Commercial Analyst is a newly created opportunity in our Perth based at our Perth CBD office.

This role is the Future Energy area reporting to the Head of Corporate Development. The purpose of the role is to monitor key trends and develop strategic insights to inform decision making and prioritisation of strategic initiatives.

**Key responsibilities of the role include**:

- In depth analysis, research, insights and recommendations around the market, products, key trends and competitors
- Monitoring key external trends against corporate assumptions and provide strategic insights to inform key decision makers
- Modelling including business valuations, project financing, feasibility and associated analysis
- Research the market environment outlook and future developments to inform and support the delivery of key accountabilities
- Deliver outstanding analysis and develop clear and concise presentations and investment cases to support investment decisions and corporate strategic objectives for the business

**What you’ll bring**:

- Tertiary education qualifications in either Commerce, Engineering or Statistics/Mathematics
- 3+ years experience in commercial, finance or consulting role
- Ability to navigate ambiguous or unfamiliar tasks to solve complex business problems
- Strong financial modelling skills (excel)
- Strong written skills, particularly with PowerPoint and strong verbal communication skills
