**About the role**:
An exceptional career opportunity is available for a Commercial Analyst to join our team supporting the Commercial Manager, to provide clear, accurate and detailed analytical reviews of operations at Silk Hospitality.

You will be joining a team of innovative high performers who rely on collaboration, adaptability, and continuous improvement to achieve market leading outcomes. Your main objective will be to maximise revenue and margin opportunities with a focus of minimising costs.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Establish sound invoicing processes and monitoring to ensure complete, accurate invoicing that result in complete revenue capture
- Work closely with the Commercial Manager to ensure accurate financial reporting and analysis of business trends and performance
- Provision of timely and accurate information for the weekly generation of financial reporting
- Develop and review of site specific KPIs, metrics and statistics which drive financial performance, and provide the business with value added data for forecasting and decision making.
- Provide meaningful analysis to Operations and Senior Management to construct and implement any necessary corrective action plans
- Deliver margin improvement through effectively reviewing opportunities across the business
- Participate in commercial discussions, new business opportunity financial modelling, preparation of business cases, preparation of customer reporting packs with analysis & commentary
- Support commercial decisions in driving new business initiatives into the business
- Support investment models/ business cases for new initiatives

**Qualities essential to the role**:

- Ability to work cross functionally & communicate with all levels of the organisation
- Commercially astute, demonstrated financial acumen
- Demonstrated ability to manage and analyse large data sets
- Demonstrated ability to provide value adding analytical insights
- Advanced MS Excel skills
