**The Opportunity**:
Our Melbourne office has an exciting opportunity for a Cyber security analyst to join the team

Working closely with our Cyber Security Manager and our technology partners, you'll be a key player in investigating and resolving cyber incidents.

Your role will assist in the implementation, maintenance, and reporting of all Urbis Cyber Security Systems and provide Cyber security awareness training for all stakeholders.

.**You will**:

- Continually analyse and remediate security events to prevent threats and intrusions
- Swiftly resolve security incidents based on priority and sensitivity
- Aid in investigations, implementing mitigation measures and reporting to stakeholders
- Assist with vulnerability assessments and tracking remediation activities
- Enhance our security awareness program and conducting additional training
- Support governance activities like system mapping, data gathering, and assessments

**About you**:

- Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology (or equivalent industry certification/experience)
- 1+ years relevant experience in a cyber security role
- Microsoft Security Certifications or Experience around SIEM management are preferrable
- Strong Networking experience, including applicable skills and an advanced understanding of TCP/IP, common networking ports and protocols, traffic flow, system administration, OSI Model, defence-in-depth and common security elements
