**The Role**:
In this new role as our
**Cyber Security Analyst **you will be responsible for maintaining the confidentiality, integrity and availability of cyber assets across CoINVEST. You’ll monitor and conduct risk assessments of new and existing tech as well as manage controls to minimise the risk of threats to our systems.
In addition to supporting the integrity of our systems you will be tasked with improving awareness of appropriate risk mitigation methods across the organisation.

This is a
**Full-time, Permanent**, role with a
**hybrid** office based/work from home offering, located in East Melbourne
**, 2 mins walk to Parliament Station**.
Our
**Cyber Security Analyst** role requires a passionate, forward thinking, technical specialist who offers capability in:
- Maintaining, monitoring, scrutinising and improving CoINVESTs Cyber Security systems.
- Delivering innovative and relevant security solutions, employing the Essential 8 maturity model to mitigate risk.
- Influencing and executing a Cyber Security Roadmap in a structured and accountable manner.
- Establishing Cyber Security governance and vulnerability management systems.
- Maintaining our ISMS including policies & procedures.
- Development of critical tool sets to monitor, analyse and test IT Security.
- Organisational uplift in security awareness, mentoring, coaching and championing our people to be risk adverse.
- Application of technologies & methodologies - Vulnerability discovery, Scanning, Testing, Microsoft 365 E5, Defender, Exchange, Cloud O365\Azure, Networking, WAF EDR, XDR, Log Analytics.
Critical to this role is your ability to conduct vulnerability assessments and identifying appropriate security risk mitigation measures and recommendations along with a passion for Cyber Security and improving company security posture.

**Who are you?**

If you have recognised qualifications, certifications or experience in IT security or digital forensics and 2-3 years IT security experience in environments like those found in Banking, Health, Financial Services, Insurance, Superannuation, or related member-based organisations then this role may be for you.
