**Purpose**

**Responsibilities**
- Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement in cyber and information security defence and response.
- Evaluate and assist with the design, implementation and support of security tools and services.
- Assist in the implementation and maintenance of security controls and policies to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Monitor the IT infrastructure, systems, and networks of Envirosuite for security breaches and suspicious activities.
- Investigate and analyse security incidents, including malware infections, data breaches, and unauthorised access attempts.
- Respond promptly to security incidents, contain the impact, and implement remediation measures.
- Collaborate with IT teams to address identified vulnerabilities and implement necessary security patches and updates.
- Collaborate with Sales, Product, Marketing and other teams to provide input to customer security assessment requests, reviews, risk assessments and third-party supplier reviews.
- Provide recommendations for enhancing security measures based on industry best practices.
- Conduct cybersecurity awareness training for employees to promote a security-conscious culture.
- Document all security incidents, investigations, and actions taken for future reference and regulatory compliance.
- Prepare reports on security incidents, threat assessments, and mitigation strategies.
- Stay up to date with the latest cyber threats, attack techniques, and security trends.

**Skills & Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field or equivalent industry experience.
- Proven work experience as a Cyber Security Analyst or in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of and demonstrated skillset in cybersecurity principles, frameworks, controls, technologies, and best practices.
- Hands-on experience with industry standards and control frameworks (e.g., ISO/IEC 27001, GDPR, Essential 8).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Strong people focus with a preference for team success over individual achievements.
- Low ego and high Emotional Intelligence (EQ)
