Bar Ombre is looking for a new supervisor - CBD Rooftop Bar with 10 pm finishes Bar Ombre/Salt Meats Cheese is an Italian restaurant chain in Circular Quay and is looking to expand our management team for our popular rooftop bar. Think you have what it takes even read on Salt Meats Cheese is an exciting and rapidly expanding company. We have several venues across the country with plans to expand further. We offer Italian food with a fresh, Aussie twist. We believe in having fun whilst at work and encourage building rapport with our customers and most definitely having a laugh We have a very strong team culture and are big believers that attitude is everything, and during busy times we have an "all hands on deck" attitude to get the job done and provide awesome food/drink and service to our customers in an efficient way. We are looking for a bubbly, well-presented and highly motivated individual ready to join a fast-growing and exciting company Job tasks and responsibilities **Duties**: - Assist in coordinating the venue operation, including front-of-house and back-of-house - Deliver services and ensure absolute customer satisfaction - Appraise personnel's performance and provide feedback to keep them upbeat and productive - Maintain staff training - Track compliance with sanitation and safety rules and regulations - Control costs and cut waste - Organize and supervise shifts - Make staff rosters - Place orders - Estimate consumption, forecast requirements and maintain inventory - Be available to work on weekends. The successful applicant must possess the following attributes: - Fluent English is a must - Preferably full working rights - At least 3-years experience in a cocktail bar and 1-year experience management - Only people with the appropriate experience and full-time availability need apply. - Full-time work with a rotating roster but must be free on weekends.
