**About the Role**:
Operating within the Finance Department, you will be responsible for supporting the Payroll Manager in managing and executing payroll-related projects, ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing, and improving payroll systems and processes. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with various departments.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Lead and manage payroll-related projects, including:

- System Integration - Workday and Payroll Systems
- Continuous Improvement Review - Design and implement corporate payroll processes to ensure efficient and compliant practices
- Critical Reviews - Superannuation and Worker Compensation
- Audit Improvements - Design and execute improvements identified through Payroll Audits
- Education - Support development of Award and Contractual knowledge within the existing payroll team

**Ideal Education / Qualifications / Competencies**:

- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a fast-paced payroll environment
- Experience leading payroll projects, prioritising multiple projects, and meeting deadlines
- Evident experience in interpreting Award/EBAs and understanding current payroll-related legislation
- Effective communicator with experience working with varying stakeholders
- Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to motivate team through change
- Proficiency in payroll software
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills & ability to take on unique situations
- A growth mindset, with the ability to seek out, take on, and adapt to feedback
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience with Sage MicrOpay and UKG Dimensions highly desirable
