**Your new role awaits**

This newly created position of **Payroll Project Specialist** will report directly to the National Payroll Manager, and work alongside our team based in Mascot. Our office is conveniently located a short walk from Mascot Train Station and is surrounded by cafes, restaurants, shops, and gyms.

You'll be responsible for managing projects identifying pain points within current payroll and time management processes, developing, testing and implementing efficient systems and procedures, and ensuring compliance with regulations.

To ensure the smooth implementation and functioning of new processes, you'll need to effectively communicate with stakeholders across various departments, such as HR, IT, and Finance.

This is a **12-month fixed term full-time** position, with likelihood of becoming permanent.

**A typical day for you**
- Identifying and assessing issues within current payroll
- Performing scenario/regression testing and UAT testing on End-to-End process
- Consultation with internal and external stakeholders
- Overseeing change management for payroll processes

**What you’ll bring to the role**
- End-to-end payroll expertise
- Knowledge of payroll legislation - Awards, EBA’s, Fair Work
- SAP ECP & Kronos WFD experience is a huge advantage
- Project management experience is preferred.
- Process change management
- Focus on compliance
- Bachelor's Degree or certification in a Payroll related discipline is desirable
