**The opportunity**
We have an exciting opportunity for a hands on Manager, HR Systems to join QIC’s fast paced and collaborative HR team on a 12 month contract basis. As an Oracle HCM Cloud expert, your passion and curiosity for deepening the systems capability within a HR function will make you a success in this role. This opportunity provides a HR systems leader exposure to a wide range of HCM modules, from Core HR, Talent, Oracle Recruiting Cloud and Compensation (to name a few).
As a functional expert and problem solver, you will partner with HR team members to lead technology improvements whilst effectively identifying opportunities to streamline and improve processes. You will partner with the business to understand functional user pain points to implement implements or adopt other ways of working.
You will be the key conduit between QIC, Oracle and our support partner, working in partnership to create solutions to enhance our operating platform.
In addition to this, you’ll be responsible for:
- Talent module implementation (Career Development & Success and Talent Management)
- Implement improvements (either direct configuration, testing and production implementation or by leveraging external managed support capability) that result from business procedure and process reviews (i.e., workflow approvals, manager self-service and employee conditions changes)
**About You**
As a solutions-focused Manager, HR Systems who loves to be hands on with the system, you have:
- In-depth understanding of Oracle HCM Cloud capability or other HRIS platforms
- Advanced understanding of HR operational objectives and processes, gained through hands on experience in HR operational roles
- Well-developed understanding of HR specialists’ functions and cyclical programs (i.e., performance management, recruitment, compensation)
- Ability to collaborate and influence HR specialists to reach process optimisation and benefit realisation of the HCM
- Well-developed understanding of HR data and reporting
- Autonomous, process-driven, and disciplined
- Ability to think creatively and generate novel solutions to complex requirements
