**Job Description**:
Are you an experienced HSE Manager with great communication and influencing skills looking to join a global ASX listed organisation and take the next step in your career?

As part of the National Safety, Health and Environment team, your role will be to provide expertise to some of our plants in the implementation of safety systems and processes to meet the CHEP zero harm vision. You will use your specialist safety knowledge and technical expertise to implement practical health, safety and environmental compliance solutions and behavioral safety improvement programs. This role will be based at either our Derrimut or Dandenong South office with periodic travel to other plants when required.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

- Provide leadership in the delivery of the HSE strategy in Victoria
- Work with leaders to create a collaborative environment for safety and environmental continuous improvement and best practice both within plant operations and the wider regional business
- Act as the key driver and support for safety cultural change through a Safety Differently strategy
- Facilitate the development and training of learning teams at plant level
- Identify safety system improvements which will aid the delivery of a step change in safety compliance
- Leadership experience in workplace safety a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Experience in implementing practical safety solutions
- Tertiary qualifications in Safety or a related discipline
- Highly collaborative with the ability to influence across all levels
- Experience in driving collaborative change
- Experience of working with Australian regulatory bodies
- Detailed knowledge of Safety, Health and Environmental systems, controls and compliance
