**THE OPPORTUNITY**

Due to a continuous expansion of the group, we are looking for a **Work Health and Safety Advisor** who will be predominantly working on building sites and on the road across the **Northern Suburbs & Bendigo region**.

There is a possibility for someone to be based in the Western Suburbs or Geelong as we have flexibility to re-allocate regions.

This is a full-time, on-going position reporting to our dynamic Work Health and Safety Manager who is supportive, transparent, engaging and leads by example. Having built the function/team over the last 7years he has transformed what safety means to our business.

Some of the key attributes within this role will include:

- Participating and assisting in audit processes and document management
- Site Safety Inspections and reporting of findings
- Ensuring contractors are inducted and following the groups policies and procedures as well as legislations
- Collation of data and statistics for company reports
- Conducting on site Toolbox meetings regarding safety
- Reporting incidents, hazards, injuries and near misses
- Assist with the WH&S components of new employee and contractor inductions
- Learning and teaching all aspects of site safety and auditing

**ABOUT YOU**:

- Desire to learn the requirements of work health and safety and grow your knowledge in the building industry
- Proficient with Microsoft Office
- Have a passion for safety and ensuring compliance
- Strong work ethic
- Passionate about educating/guiding others regarding all safety aspects
- Be prepared to build a solid relationship with employees, contractors, suppliers, regulators and authorities
- Team orientated
