Workers Compensation Payroll Specialist needed This role is an important part of the Payroll team, working closely with both internal and external stakeholders e.g. Injury Management team, Payroll teams, external Insurers e.g. to facilitate and ensure accuracy and timely payment and reimbursement of WC benefits.

This is a permanent full time position and can be based in either or St Kilda Road VIC or North Ryde NSW Offices.

**ABOUT THE ROLE**:

- Process forms and maintain accurate wage variations on worker’s compensation payments
- Submit and manage workers compensation payroll advice to Payroll
- Process reimbursement claims from external parties in a timely, accurate and efficient manner
- Review timesheets and other information as needed to ensure accuracy of payroll
- Manage work flow to ensure all payroll instructions are processed accurately and timely
- Prepare regular workers compensation payroll related reports, ensuring all reports are accurate and disbursed in a timely manner
- Ability to evaluate and analyse existing procedures and business processes, propose and implement changes and/or quality control measures leading to best practice operations
- Maintain records in a confidential manner, including employee workers compensation payments and any other related information
- Ability to build relationships, work collaboratively and consultatively within a small team environment, and also with Shared Services and external agencies

**ABOUT YOU**:

- Sound understanding of workers compensation payroll and reimbursement processes. Multi-State knowledge would be highly advantageous.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving
- Accurate data entry skills & experience using MS Excel
- Demonstrated capacity to work independently and autonomously with mínimal supervision and also collaboratively within a team.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality is mandatory
- Excellent time management & organisational skills
