**The Opportunity**

We are working with a Victorian Government Department, delivering a number of different projects across a strategic program of work and we are looking for an experienced Change and Communications Manager to join our team.

You will be working across a variety of projects in discovery phase, gathering business communications needs, identifying stakeholder management approach aligning with change management, and working collaboratively across multi-disciplinary teams to support delivery and implementation.

Specific deliverables will include:

- Developing a stakeholder communications plan, business communications calendar (including learning needs), and communication change adoption strategy
- Supporting the Change Manager and Project Manager with developing content for key project forums (i.e. Steering Committee, Showcases, etc.)
- Developing impact assessments, communication change adoption strategy, and generic and customised content needed for stakeholder engagement
- Drafting program-level and tactical-level communications ready for distribution, partnering with relevant project team members to get the required content
- Identifying and managing change-related risks and issues, and
- Providing support for general project and Change streams.

This is an initial 12 month assignment on a major strategic program to start in early March so to qualify you will be able to demonstrate:

- Minimum 3 years experience in a communications analyst function in change management
- Advanced stakeholder engagement skills working in a complex matrix environment
- Experience in preparation of communication plans, impact assessments, and learning with a focus on distributed user groups
- Advanced experience preparing written formal communications and reports for senior executives, stakeholders, and end users
- Complex technology project experience including CRM platforms, project support and change management
- An understanding of the client or stakeholder’s organisational context to provide services and ensure a high-quality output
- Experience in government would be highly regarded
