Our Federal Government client is seeking a
**APS6/EL1 Program Management Officer** who has strong program management experience.

**About the role**:

- Monitor and track key Aid Management cycle milestones, managing development program risks and ensuring monitoring and evaluation in accordance with Departmental requirements.
- Drive establishment of a Fellowships Program, including managing a design process, stakeholder mapping and engagement, managing implementation, managing and undertaking outreach and communications, managing governance and oversight mechanisms, and risk management.
- Support design, procurement, implementation and oversight of media capacity building programs. Supporting consistent messaging by client both internally, and through client’s whole-of-government, bilateral and multilateral engagement.
- Promote a positive team culture where staff work collegiately with a shared sense of purpose and build capability within the team by coaching others and providing feedback.

**Ideally, you will have**:

- Have demonstrated knowledge in an area of focus relevant to the department as outlined under ‘The Opportunities’ above and have an understanding of global affairs
- Have strong program management experience
- Be capable of developing and managing complex relationships with stakeholders to achieve work area goals
- Have strong written and verbal communication
- Be capable of prioritising and managing tasks, working autonomously, and escalating issues that may have an impact on the work area
- Demonstrate the ability to contribute positively to a workplace culture that values diversity
