**About the Role**:
This Federal Government Organisation is seeking a Projects Consultant to provide project management support to the increasing number of strategic projects across the organisation. You will use your knowledge of project methodology and project delivery to support the PMO Manager.

The team is comprised of Project Managers, Change Managers and PMO and are responsible for partnering with all divisions across the organisation seeking to deliver strategic initiatives and major projects.

You will have a helicopter view of all projects across financial services, including cyber, superannuation, risk, and big data.

This position is permanent, based in Sydney CBD + WFH, and is offering $170k package.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Monitor and report on compliance with established project methodology to ensure the organisation adheres to standards and best practices
- Support the identification and management of project, program and portfolio insights (e.g. thematic risks across project portfolio, resourcing hotspots) to inform decision management
- Review and deliver continuous improvement to existing project management framework / methodology, project reporting and governance artefacts.
- Coordinate and support internal governance and EPMO activities including financial management and resource onboarding / offboarding.
- Project / Program support as required including governance and risk tracking, reporting, and program/project administration

**Key Skills**:

- Demonstrated PMO experience working across financial services.
- Solid understanding of project methodology, frameworks, and concepts.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills with the ability to influence diverse stakeholder groups.
- Experience working in both Agile/Scrum and Waterfall environments
- PMP certification and Project delivery experience.
