This opportunity will provide you with the ability to learn and become skilled in a wide variety Planning work, as well as playing part in our wider 500 + multidisciplinary team in the APAC region. Our planning team currently works with a variety of clients nationwide. You will be provided the opportunity to work independently, from project inception through to approval, on small scale projects as well as being part of larger, multi-discipline teams working on more complex projects.Key Responsibilities

**Job tasks and responsibilities**
As part of a growing team in SLR, you will be responsible for carrying out services that range in assisting with preparing planning reports for both local and state significant development, preparing strategic planning advice and due diligence reports, briefing and managing specialist subconstructs, and attending client, Council and other authority meetings. You will be supported by senior consultants to develop detailed knowledge and understanding of the Planning industry.
- Taking part in our fantastic graduate program, you will also connect with other SLR graduates around Australia in various disciplines, to learn from and grow with each other at this exciting time in your career.**Skills and experience**
- A degree in town planning or equivalent (we are also interested to hear from you if you’re nearing completion of your studies)
- Excellent report writing skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work unsupervised as well as part of a team
- Ability to take the initiative and be proactive in your workplace
- Exposure to/ understanding of Town Planning, Property, Development environments
- Exposure to/ understanding of the consulting industry
