**The Role**
Directorate of Engineering-Army have quality assurance positions in governance and coordination and assurance and audit. The key responsibilities for these roles are:

- Participate in the review, update and maintenance of test and evaluation, engineering, and safety policy for Army equipment.
- Coordinate and perform and quality assurance audit and activities of Army engineering, safety, test and evaluation management systems and prepare reports.
- Develop, implement and review quality assurance procedures, practices and governance frameworks to ensure alignment with Defence and industry standards.
- Engage with stakeholders in relation to complex issues, by provide policy, governance, quality assurance and business improvement advice and guidance.
- Contribute to the development and delivery of team’s strategic, business planning, project, change management and continuous improvement objectives.

**About our Team**
Director of Engineering - Army (DENG-A) supports the Technical Regulatory Authority - Land (TRA-L) with the development and maintenance of regulations, policy and guidance for land materiel maintenance and safety, and the provision of monitoring, assurance and advisory activities.

As part of DENG-A, Land Test & Evaluation Agency (LTEA) leads Army's Test & Evaluation efforts through innovate and adaptive design, involving Defence industry best practices. Its mission is to assure, plan, conduct and support Test & Evaluation activities to provide objective evidence in order to support Land and Joint capability milestones.

We are looking for a competent technical professional who is a skilled a communicator and team player to be part of an integrated workforce responsible for developing and maintaining safety policy, ensuring the safe conduct of test and evaluation activities, assuring the safe management Army equipment.
- Quality management systems and practices; and/or
- Audit, compliance or quality assurance; and/or
- Technical risk assessment and management; and/or
- Business planning, governance and coordination.
