We currently have a permanent full-time opportunity for a Learning Design Lead to join the team. Reporting into the Senior Manager Learning Design, this role will lead and manage the Consumer Division portfolio, that includes our Retail Banking division, as well as other teams with their learning and capability requirements.

This role can be based in any of our main office locations in Melbourne, Adelaide, or Bendigo for the two days per week that you are in the office, and then other days you’ll be working from home.

As a Learning Design Lead you’ll get to:

- At times lead a “learning squad” (learning team members and/or external resources) to design and deliver learning solutions and be an active squad member yourself, other times you will work autonomously
- Design and create contemporary learning experiences and solutions to help address the learning and capability needs of the Consumer Division portfolio and ensure the appropriate evaluation strategies are in place to measure business impact.
- Create learning content using contemporary learning design principles and appropriate content authoring tools aligned to needs analysis

To be successful in the role, you'll have:

- A relevant tertiary degree in Adult Learning (desirable), Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (or relevant on the job experience)
- Extensive and proven experience creating learning solutions in contemporary and creative ways that incorporate adult learning theories, maximise technology, and learning on-the-job
- Advanced ability to interpret and define business outcomes, learning needs and derive appropriate measurement processes
- Strong experience in project management, being able to manage and coordinate multiple learning projects into a cohesive program of work
- Demonstrated capabilities with content authoring tools (eg Rise, Articulate 360)
- Experience in designing learning solutions for Consumer retail divisions, and/or within the banking industry would be beneficial
