**This an excellent role for an enthusiastic and team oriented person to help guide a broad cultural team with a variety of contractural and claims issues within our construction projects throughout the APAC region.**

The contract & claims management team is spread across multiple sub regions throughout APAC and your experience working with different cultures across multiple timezones will be beneficial towards your success. In this role you will work with multiple departments including Procurement, Legal, Bid Management and many others across our matrix organisiation. You will be a great people person and find stakeholder managerment to be an important and exciting part of your daily duties.

**Responsibilities**

As the Head of Contract Management, you will have the lead responsibility for the Contract Management, APAC and possess the skills and experience to lead and drive the commercial and contractual aspects of commercially complex projects and disputes that could have a significant business impact for Vestas.
- To be a pro-active force in the growth and development of the Team and contractual competences.
- Represent the Contract Management team to the APAC and the wider Global organization of Vestas

Will set the direction and ambition for the Contract Management function in Asia Pacific, including driving new initiatives across functions and regions in Vestas including:

- The continual development/improvement of standard templates for use in Contract Management, both for internal and external purposes.
- To support the Sales phase of projects, by providing commercial and contractual support to Sales and Service Sales Support team during Sales negotiations including
- Responsible for evaluating potential claim scenarios and providing recommendations to internal stakeholders and management.
- Support procurement team to transfer the risks in Customer contracts to various subcontracts and negotiate the contract terms with subcontractors.
- Negotiate potential commercial and contractual dispute with customers, subcontractors and any other third party.
- Review, present and advise and support internal stakeholders on obligations and deliverables under Turbine Supply Agreements.
- Ensure internal processes and procedures relating to contract management are adhered to.
- Work closely with the Sales, Compliance and Legal Department.

**Qualifications**
- Experienced in contract and claims management, with in-depth knowledge of extension of time and costs claims, etc.
- Experience of leading team across geographies
- Experience from Wind, Construction and Oil & Gas industries.
- Fluent in English, any regional language will be additional benefit.
