**Reporting to**: National Director Medico Legal

Are you a skilled claims professional with a passion for improving outcomes in healthcare? We're looking for a dynamic **Clinical & Liability Claims Manager** to join our team and play a key role in managing clinical and general liability claims across our hospital network.

**About the Role**

As the Clinical & Liability Claims Manager, you’ll support the National Director Medico Legal in overseeing medical malpractice and public liability claims. You’ll be the vital link between external legal teams and hospital executives, helping to drive better outcomes, reduce costs, and enhance our claims management systems.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Manage clinical and liability claims in collaboration with legal and hospital teams.
- Provide medico-legal advice and support to hospital staff.
- Maintain claims registers and generate reports for executive and audit purposes.
- Assist in implementing software solutions for tracking legal spend.
- Identify trends and contribute to risk management training.

**What You’ll Bring**
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in claims management (insurer, self-insured, or legal practice).
- Tertiary qualification in law, health, or business.
- Strong understanding of litigation and civil procedure.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Analytical mindset with proficiency in MS Office and Excel.
- Experience with claims and incident management systems (e.g., Riskman) is a plus.

**Desirable**
- Eligibility to hold a legal practicing certificate.
- Knowledge of health law and personal injury claims.
