**About the Role**
You will be responsible for reaching out to customers with overdue payments, helping them find solutions that suit their needs while also ensuring the company's financial objectives are met. Your success will lie in your ability to balance assertiveness with understanding, keeping customer satisfaction at the forefront of all interactions.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Contact customers with outstanding payments using phone and electronic methods
- Negotiate and establish effective payment arrangements
- Complete administrative tasks related to collections
- Monitor ongoing payment plans and promises-to-pay
- Make decisions on deploying mercantile or repossession agents for delinquent accounts
- Provide regular feedback to the credit acceptance team

**Key Requirements**:

- Minimum 2 years' experience in credit collections, particularly in customer-facing roles
- Solid understanding of credit collections legislation and obligations
- Intermediate computing skills, including proficiency with MS Office
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with a keen eye for detail
- A strong work ethic, positive attitude, and team spirit - we are a growing business, and we value team players who can occasionally support across departments
