Aps 5/6 Finance Officer

Seeking qualified Finance Officers with a AGSVA clearance at the APS 5 or APS 6 level.
As the Finance Officer you will perform a broad range of functions with manageable workload under the broad direction.
You will have:
- Experience in end of end of month processing, including preparing and posting journals, review of general ledger balances, preparation of monthly financial statements and Balance Sheet Reconciliations.
- Supporting the Finance Officer who performs the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions, cash management activities, leave liability management, credit card management, travel and expense management as well as provide procurement and support services.
- Coordinate the development of the budgets, including TM1 and Departmental liaison. Ability to work within a team in a dynamic environment to meet deadlines, good communication skills, as well as well-developed planning, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Sound Knowledge of the Australian Accounting Standards and SAP is essential and tertiary qualifications in accounting/finance are highly advantageous.
To be successful in these roles you will demonstrate:
- Background working as a Finance or administrative officer (preferably with experience in a government environment).
- Well developed verbal and written communication skills.
- Resilience and the ability to perform in a rapidly changing environment.
- Show personal drive and initiative; and
- Work in a small team within a complex and fast-paced work environment.
