- Jonathan Foxley Due to the challenges of year end reporting commitments and a range of project initiatives, including process improvements and system upgrades, we are supporting local government with the recruitment of qualified accounting roles.
We’re looking to speak to Financial Accountants, Management Accountants and Finance Managers who are immediately available, who have significant experience working across local government who are looking for their next challenge.
Supporting the senior finance leadership team, the roles are seen as finance business partners to the organisation, where you will be involved in a variety of finance activities including the following:
- Accountable for the month end and year end close.
- Prepare and issue monthly reports, providing variance analysis.
- Preparation of trial balance reconciliations.
- Involvement in the budgeting and forecasting process.
- Process improvement projects.
- Ad hoc duties as required.
Being CA/CPA qualified, you will have strong accounting skills and bring energy and enthusiasm to the role from day one. With a collaborative style, you will enjoy being the trusted advisor to the wider tam and be dedicated to making a positive impact with the internal stakeholders.
