**How You'll Make an Impact**

In this pivotal Manager - Operational Due Diligence (ODD) role, you'll be the critical guardian of operational investment integrity, driving comprehensive operational due diligence (ODD) across external fund managers through a structured and dynamic approach. Your strategic responsibilities will encompass managing the ODD review cycle, including distributing detailed questionnaires, conducting thorough reviews of financial statements, processes, policies and compliance frameworks, and preparing meticulous file notes and investment recommendations.

You'll navigate complex operational landscapes by cross-checking critical information across financial statements, legal structures, IT systems, and third-party service providers, while simultaneously managing the ODD budget to ensure both overseas and domestic travel remains within allocated financial parameters. By leveraging your analytical skills and comprehensive approach, you'll identify potential risks, drive process improvements and provide invaluable insights that directly influence strategic investment decision-making.

Please note: A key aspect of this role requires will require the employee to of undertake two international operational due diligence trips annually to perform on-site assessments of AMP's overseas External Fund Managers (EFMs).

You will bring a robust demonstrated experience in operational due diligence, legal, accounting, or investment operations. Your expertise will span both public and private market assets, complemented by a deep understanding of wealth management and investment ecosystems. Your analytical mindset, combined with exceptional stakeholder management skills, will enable you to navigate complex financial landscapes, manage competing priorities and drive collaborative, high-performance outcomes. Your ability to establish productive relationships, influence strategic decisions, and maintain rigorous attention to detail will be paramount in this transformative role.
