Reporting to the Head of Financial Crime Compliance, Privacy and Fraud Risk, this role ensures that key business processes, systems and support functions operate in compliance with the Sanctions and ABC Program requirements and legislation. The role requires close liaison and partnering with key business stakeholders, as well as driving the sanctions strategy through the implementation of both tactical and strategic projects.
**How you will make an impact**
- Ensuring that the AMP group and entities comply with the relevant global privacy regulations
- Representing AMP at appropriate Sanctions and ABC industry forums
- Liaising with Sanctions regulators (e.g. DFAT, the ASO etc.).
- Supporting strong risk mindsets and behaviours that lead to the effective management of risk
- Ensuring non-compliance identified is appropriately escalated and recorded
- Monitoring and maintenance of the Sanctions and ABC Frameworks to take account of regulatory feedback, changes to the external risk environment and changes to AMP’s risk profile
- Delivering Sanctions and ABC training and communications across AMP
**What you will bring to the role**
- Expert understanding of Sanctions and ABC regulatory regimes and a strong understanding of the overall regulatory and compliance regime for financial services
- A clear understanding of Sanctions and Bribery and Corruption risk and the appropriate steps to mitigate and manage these risks.
- Ability to provide clear and unambiguous advice on the management of Sanctions and Bribery and Corruption risk to business stakeholders
- Experience of influencing key stakeholders through engagement at Executive Level
- Strong report writing, presentation and verbal communication skills.
- Have a strong continuous improvement mindset - identifying opportunities, generating ideas, and implementing solutions.
