Program Manager

**Purpose of the role**:
Lead a transformational program by overseeing multiple projects and aligning them with group strategy. Guide delivery teams using A&G's framework, manage dependencies and risks, and unblock barriers to ensure business value. Act as a liaison with stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure alignment with strategic goals. Foster strong internal and external relationships to achieve successful program outcomes.

**The role**
- Demonstrate strong leadership to build relationships and solve problems.
- Support development of long-term roadmaps.
- Manage diverse stakeholders at all levels.
- Translate business priorities to delivery teams.
- Oversee cross-program dependencies.
- Identify and manage program risks and issues.
- Create and communicate program reports.
- Coordinate with teams to resolve conflicts and challenges.
- Manage team capacity and demand.
- Keep teams focused on strategic priorities.
- Build trusted relationships with business and customer groups.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement and waste reduction.
- Collaborate with leaders to address people challenges.
- Present project updates to senior management.
- Coordinate production releases as needed.
- Manage additional special projects as assigned.
- Celebrate successes and foster a high-performance culture.
- Coach and mentor team members through goal setting and feedback.

**What experience you’ll bring
**Essential**:

- Minimum 2 years in program management.
- Minimum 5 years in project management.
- Strong grasp of key program management concepts.

**Personal Attributes**:

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Collaborative team player across departments.
- Detail-oriented and results-driven.

**Desirable**:

- Experience with cloud migration.
- Postgraduate degree in Information Technology from a recognized institution.
- Managing Successful Programmes (MSP®) certification.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
- Experience in financial or regulated industries.
- Knowledge of traditional and Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, Lean, DevOps).
