**The Position**

An exciting role with great variety where you will:

- Receive shipment pre-alerts and specifications prior to departure
- Monitor import status to co-ordinate with clients and their requirements
- Process import documentation for air and sea freight shipments
- Keep clients up to speed with their shipments and consult solutions on any changes/issues
- Ensure efficient import processes to expedite clearance and delivery
- Monitor and report shipment status/milestones
- Obtain and submit shipping documents to Customs dept.
- Develop and retain client relationships/loyalty

**The Requirements**

To be considered for this role you must possess:

- Proven import experience within a freight forwarder or exports with view to train within the Australian market
- Customer Service experience and focus
- Exceptional attention to detail and follow through
- Well developed problem solving skills
- Dangerous Goods Certification will be highly regarded
- Problem solving ability, resilience and can do attitude
- Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
