Our client is a medium sized international freight forwarder and customs agency. They have a vibrant, fun team environment, a supportive Branch Manager and the latest industry software to make everything run a little smoother An opportunity has arisen for an individual with import sea freight forwarding experience to join their team in a newly created full time permanent position.
Reporting to the Branch Manager and working within a small, but busy import team, you will get involved in all aspects of import operations to include job registrations, lodging sea cargo, chasing up missing documents, contacting shipping lines regarding arrival times, interacting with the Customs team to check on clearance status and data entry. Plenty of opportunity to continue learning and developing with this supportive team.
This is a full time permanent position. Hours of work are 8:30am to 5pm Monday to Friday. Salary will be commensurate with relevant industry experience.
Please note: Applicants must have recent import sea freight forwarding experience to be considered for this position. This position is only open to individuals with full working rights to work in Australia on a permanent basis.
