Our client provides international freight forwarding, customs clearance and transport services to a diverse client base. Due to ongoing growth and success, an opportunity has arisen within their Melbourne branch for a suitably experienced Import person to handle sea freight and airfreight operations.

Working within a fast paced, professional team environment, you will enjoy variety, plenty of client interaction and the freedom to truly make this role your own.

**Key responsibilities**:

- FCL, LCL and Airfreight
- Job registrations
- Tracking of consignments and keeping customers updated
- Lodge Air & Sea Cargo Automation
- Liaise with Air lines, shipping lines and unpack depots
- Arranging payment of local arrival charges
- Costings, Issuing invoices, pre-alerts, arrival notice, outturn reports & delivery orders
- Preparation of documents for internal department

To be considered for this position applicants must meet the following criteria:

- Recent experience gained specifically within the international freight forwarding industry
- Working knowledge of Cargowise preferred
