Due to exciting new business we have availability for an Import Operator at either **Melbourne/Brisbane Airpor**t or **Port Botany.**

**THE ROLE**
As an experienced operator, you will work closely with our Operations Supervisor and imports team, bringing your well developed relationship management, problem resolution and delivery management skills, to service our clients and ensure their cargo is delivered on time and in line with their requirements.

**What will your average day involve?**
- Process all import bookings ensuring attention to detail is maintained at all times
- Input data into relevant systems and ensure data integrity is maintained
- Ensure each step within every job is carefully processed accurately and within required timeframes including but not limited to documentation
- Manage invoicing and prepare various reports as directed
- Maintain high quality customer service in all dealings with internal and external stakeholders
- Collaborate with sales team, account holders and internal staff to ensure client requirements are met
- Work closely with team members on a daily basis and provide back up support to each other to manage seasonal volumes

**ABOUT YOU**
You are a highly organised and experienced Import Operator with experience across air and/or sea freight with a shipping company or forwarder. Ideally, you will be a reliable and adaptable problem-solver and thrive in a team-based environment.
**Required Skills & Experience**:

- Experience in Seafreight or Airfreight operations
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Effective time management and organisational skills
- Experience using Cargowise One

This is a full-time position with standard office hours of 8:30am - 5:00pm Monday to Friday.
