Payroll Officer DEPARTMENT OF PARLIAMENTARY SERVICES
About the role Reporting to the Team Leader, Payroll Solutions, you are accountable for the time critical production of the payroll ensuring accurate data input of all pay related transactions.
You will also provide authoritative, timely and accurate advice and information to both employees and stakeholders across the two Houses of Parliament, Members of Parliament Presiding Officers, Executive and Senior Management, Parliamentary Officers, Parliamentary Advisers and Electorate Officers and stakeholders on employee services matters, including salaries, conditions of employment, leave entitlements and other related payroll matters.
About you We aren't looking for someone to just enter data all day. We are looking for an energetic individual with previous experience in the delivery of payroll services who can provide excellent customer service as part of a highly collaborative client-focussed culture across the Finance, Risk and Payroll Unit, with a strong commitment to a proactive business model which values networking and partnership.
**The successful applicant will have**:
- Proven expertise in the provision of payroll services
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with an emphasis on providing quality customer service
- A proven ability to contribute to broader Finance, Risk and Payroll activities
