**We are a leading distributor of packaging in the Western Suburbs of Melbourne. **We have a fun, laid back yet high achieving working environment.
**Overview**
**Your day-to-day routine will look something like this**:
- Develop key supplier relationships.
- Place orders with suppliers.
- Manage all aspects of stock replenishment (DIFOT) with a focus on the life cycle.
- Regularly monitor, measure, and report on stock levels and stock-related issues.
- Manage and generate income via investment buying.
- Collate and manage supplier information
- Regularly liaise with Customer Service and Warehouse departments at the regarding stock related matters
- Ensure actual stock levels match the system
- Analyse sales/purchasing report data on a regular basis
- Other administrative tasks as required.
**All about you**:
- Prior experience working in a busy environment as a Purchase Officer or a Procurement background.
- Strong background in inventory management.
- Display a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in using ERP systems.
**Salary**: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
Ability to commute/relocate:
- SUNSHINE WEST, VIC 3020: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
**Experience**:
- Purchasing: 1 year (required)
- Inventory management: 1 year (required)
