**Full Job Description**
The purchasing officer will be responsible for sourcing and establishing new products as well as monitoring, maintaining, recording, and forecasting current and future inventory requirements. The role requires relationship management with different suppliers.

**You will be responsible for**:

- Source new products that fit within the current merchandise plan.
- Establish & maintain new relationships with suppliers.
- Place inventory orders and oversee inventory data management.
- Create and maintain inventory databases and systems.
- Coordinate shipping activities and make routing decisions.
- Prepare documentation for contracts, transaction, and compliance.
- Report out of date and missing stock.
- Provide data and reports to the procurement team & upper management.
