The company’s key products include marine vessel propellers and gyrostabilizers, submarine valves, marine ride control systems mining equipment and wear pipe. We are currently seeking a full time **Gyrostabiliser Field Service Technician** for a unique opportunity to conduct Gyrostabiliser maintenance and commissions in the Australasian area. We are interested in people who may be from the automotive, marine or plant industry sectors and looking for something unique in a rapidly growing global business.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Undertaking mechanical, electrical and electronic service, maintenance, and other work on the fleet of VEEM Gyrostabilizers as directed by the Company.
- Travel to and from vessels within Australiasia and worldwide and coordination of logistics with the vessel
- When not travelling you will be based in our state-of-the-art marine gyro stabilizers assembly facility located in Canning Vale.
- Providing technical training and guidance to VEEM sales, other service agents and customers
- Coordinating logistics for VEEM, including the warehousing and freight movement of VEEM Gyrostabilisers, spares, parts and tooling;
- Assisting VEEM with customer relations
- Managing customer/product database/CRM
- Commission new Gyrostabilisers
- Carry out all required services in accordance with VEEM Service intervals and work instructions

**Requirements**:

- Automotive OR Marine engineering experience
- Ability to diagnose problems with equipment
- Ability to read drawings and schematics
- Can work independently with remote support when required
- Demonstrated understanding of quality assurance principles;
- Experience in the overhaul of rotating machinery, precision assemblies
- Hydraulic experience required
- Excellent communication and problem solving
- A high level of personal honesty and integrity;
- Presents with a high degree of professionalism
- Flexibility to fly to sites within Australasia and worldwide at a moment's notice.
- A technical degree is desirable
