Service Technician

**The Company**

Our client supplies, installs and maintains specialized water filtration systems to commercial and industrial clients based in the Perth Metro area and regional Western Australia. Based at their Canning Vale headquarters our client is seeking a Service Technician to carry out water filtration system installations, Scheduled Maintenance and Repair in the Metro area as well as regional Mine Sites.

**The Role**

Our client supplies, installs and maintains a wide variety of water filtration systems which include;
- **Reverse Osmosis**
- **Water Softeners**
- **Waste Water Treatment**
- **Ultra Violet Sterilizers**
- **Membranes**
- **Media and Chemical Dosing**
- **Water Quality Instrumentation**
- **Boiling & Chilled Water Dispensers**
- **Replacement Filtration Cartridges**

Products can range from small units such as under sink filtration systems through to large water treatment packages used on mine sites.

As a Service technician you will be carrying out the following responsibilities;
- **Scheduled Servicing of Commercial Water Treatment Systems**
- **Field Service - System Fault Find & Repair**
- **Onsite Installation & Commissioning of Water Treatment Systems & Packages**
- **Build & Assembly of Water Treatment Packages in the Workshop**
- **Testing & Reporting on Existing Water Treatment Packages**
- **Job Reports Conducted on Tablets**
- **Completing Site Inductions & OH&S Requirements**
- **Customer Service**
- **Stocking Company Van with Filters, Spare Parts & Materials**

The role includes the use of Company Van which the successful applicant will be able to drive to and from work sites or our clients headquarters based in Canning Vale. There is the occasional mine site work which is estimated to be 1 to 2 days every 4 to 8 weeks.

The position also provides opportunity to advance within the organization where our client is expanding and experiencing an increased in demand of their products and services.
- **Experience as a Service Technician in Water Filtration Systems or Products**
- **Trade Qualified in Plumbing, Mechanical Trades, Marine Fitting, Pipe Fitting or Electrical**
- **Incomplete Trade Qualification in Plumbing, Mechanical or Electrical**
- **Worked as a skilled Trade Assistant in Plumbing, Pipe Fitting, Mechanical or Electrical**
- **Experience as a Service Technician for commercial or industrial products or systems**

Essential Criteria includes;
- **Be able to pass Medicals & Drug & Alcohol screens **(For Mine Site Projects)
- **Possess a valid WA Manual Drivers license **(C Class as a Minimum)
- **Able to Obtain a National Police Clearance**
- **Confident in Using Computers & Tablets**
- **Be Reliable, Punctual & Have a Great Work Ethic**
- **Has Flexibility with Conducting Work Responsibilities & Tasks Outside of Your Standard Responsibilities**
- **Demonstrated Organisational Skills with the Ability to use Initiative & Prioritize Work Tasks Effectively & be able to Work to Tight Deadlines**
- **Possess a High Level of “Attention to Detail” & Accuracy in all Work Tasks**
- **Exceptional Interpersonal Skills & the Ability to Successfully Communicate & Liaise with People on all Levels**
- **Is a Problem Solver that Possess Initiative & has a Positive Attitude that is Solutions Orientated**

**Remuneration**

This is a Permanent Role, where you will be employed directly through our client. Depending on your experience and qualifications the Salary Package Includes;
- **Annual Salary**:$90,000 to $120,000 Per Annum
- **+ Super**
- **+ Use of Company Work Vehicle**
- **+ 4 Weeks Holiday Leave & Standard Leave Entitlements such as Sick Pay**
