**About the role**:
Working with a talented team in a high-performance culture in the Service Integration and Management (SIAM) domain, this is a key role focusing on asset and lifecycle management, specifically within IT hardware.

As Suncorp moves to the new Momentum delivery model, this is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a passion for asset management, to join one of Australia’s leading Insurance companies with an outstanding reputation for developing their employees.

**What you’ll do**:

- Manage technology assets throughout their lifecycle.
- Establish and document asset management processes, assist to embed processes across the Group.
- Confirm that assets are appropriately recorded and tracked within asset repository systems (CMDB)
- Ensure that assets are optimally used and tracked.
- Determine un-healthy, un-supported, end-of-life assets and work with teams to put remediation plans in place.
- Collect asset information for budgeting, software compliance & inventory, contract summaries, and cost comparisons.
- Govern the System Health Assessment (SHA) process and ensure compliance.
- Report on health of assets as required by Regulators and as input into Business Planning discussions.
- Chair SHA Community of Practice and engage with stakeholders from each domain.
- Own the asset classification process to ensure correct treatment of assets within Service Management processes.
- Build strong relationships through engagement with customers, colleagues and other key stakeholders across all stages of the asset lifecycle.
- Provide regular reporting, both pre-designed and ad hoc, from multiple data sources.
- Assist the Software Asset Manager as required.

**What you’ll bring**:

- Experience working in a financial services organisation and/or a large Enterprise IT environment
- Experience using Enterprise ServiceNow (3 years) including Asset Module essential
- Experience supporting procurement process, negotiation and contract renewal would be beneficial but is not essential, as would experience using Flexera FNMS
- ITIL v3 or v4 Foundations or relevant experience is essential
- Strong attention to detail, good communication skills and a team-player with a flexible mind-set
