**Temporary part time opportunity ( 21 hours per week )**

**Salary from $101,947 to $112,849pa. (Pro-rata)**

**Your role**

As Project Officer you will perform project management and support activities that contribute to the development and delivery of a range of initiatives that support the Children’s Court.

**What you’ll do**

You will prepare and maintain project documentation for reporting, monitoring and evaluation purposes to ensure accessibility of quality information.

You’ll communicate with key stakeholders and coordinate working groups, committees and consultations to facilitate exchange of information.

Source, collate and compile data and information to identify emerging issues and track and report on project progress against established milestones and deliverables.

Contribute to research and analysis, identifying trends and preparing project briefs, to support informed decision-making and planning.

You will also provide a range of project management and support services, including preparation of reports and briefs, coordinating resources, maintaining project documentation and implementing and monitoring project plans.

**What we’re looking for**

Ability to quickly develop a thorough understanding of the legislation relating to the jurisdiction of the Children’s Court including the Children’s Court Act 1987, Children’s Court Rule 2000, Children and Young Persons (Care and Protection) Act 1998, Children (Criminal Proceedings) Act 1987 and the broader statutory child protection system and Youth Justice system.
